The Ancestry and Diversity Working Group (ADWG) is a multi-disciplinary team of researchers and professionals including statistical and population geneticists, clinical genomics providers and researchers, health disparities researchers, bioethicists, patient-focused partners, and community representatives. Our mission is to Investigate how ancestry information is used in clinical genomics and provide guidance for the community about how best to use race, ancestry, and genomics in a way that is scientifically rigorous and ethically responsible.
